AIDA Convenes Assembly Meeting Amid Doping Discussions and CMAS Fallout

In light of swirling misinformation within the Freediving community, AIDA has slated an assembly meeting for later this October. With the agenda spanning from doping concerns to the forthcoming 31st AIDA Freediving World Championship in Limassol, this meeting comes at a critical juncture, especially following the World Underwater Federation's (CMAS) recent decision to halt further cooperation with AIDA

ADEX Marks 30 Years with Focus on Sustainable Blue Economy

ADEX, Asia's prime dive show, is celebrating its 30th, or Pearl, anniversary in a grand manner from April 12-14, 2024, at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. The event, dubbed ADEX Ocean Festival 2024, will revolve around the theme of a "sustainable blue economy." Attendees can look forward to a plethora of activities including expert talks, panel discussions, and a keenly contested photography competition named Voice of the Ocean, where "Mobile Photo of the Year" and "Drone Photography of the Year" will be introduced as new categories​¹ ​.
